The product is of outstanding quality but only a few hundred pairs were delivered and no more of these shoes can be made.

“The Olivier” wholecut sidelace Oxford
This beautiful Side-Laced Oxford is named after Sir Laurence Olivier, who had a pair in the 1940’s. These “Wholecut” shoes are made of a single flawless skin joined at the heel with a neat “mouse ear” tab. These are the only ones existing in Sequoia Antique Calf. Sizes available are 6, 6.5, and 7, UK E fitting.

The Holkham
The Foster classic 3 tie Derby, made in their Northampton factory on the No. 66 last in top quality Black calf. Only 49 pairs were made. Look at the accurate stitching, neat hand welting, immaculate hand finishing by Foster craftspeople. No.83 shoe trees fit perfectly and are included.

Eat your heart out, Beau Brummel! With a pair of these these stunning “Mayfairs”, you will steal the show at those special occasions. Foster & Son’s ultimate Dress Shoe is a new take on an Edwardian design, the black patent calf being matched with a suede top and elegant satin laces. With only a handful ever made, these are virtually unique.

The Burford in Black Suede

The Burford in Medlar Hatch Grain calf
This version of the Burford was commissioned as a unique offering, and we think it works splendidly. The contemporary No. 18 almond toe casual last gives the shoe a relaxed and confident presence, with the Medlar hatch-grain calf showing off the superb quality of Foster’s craftsmanship. Only one batch of 8 pairs was ever made, so this is a unique opportunity if you are lucky to have the right size feet.

The Burford in Virginia Suede
Just look at the handwork on this penny loafer. The Virginia Tobacco suede is of the highest quality, literally a fine calf skin reversed, with the “leather” side inside the shoe. The welting is superb, the hand stitching on the string apron, hand finishing throughout. These are the only 8 pairs ever made, so there will never be a second chance.

Lasted Shoe Trees
The Foster no 83 lasted shoe trees were specially designed for the super- premium range and are fitted as standard to the “Albemarles” and “Oliviers”. Some other models we photographed with trees inserted, but we do not have trees available for all of them, so they are not included in the price.
The 66, 18 and 05 shoe trees were sold separately and we have only one our two pairs left, but the 83 trees actually fit the other lace-up products very well, and we still have a few in stock.
